Around ten minutes by car, straight west along Albion Street or Victoria Street. By tram, the 96 along Nicholson Street and the 19 along Sydney Road both connect across to the route 58, which runs along Melville Road, get off at stop 35, on the corner of Victoria Street.

What Brunswick East patients come in with
Cycling. Brunswick East has one of the highest rates of bicycle commuting in Melbourne, and the Merri Creek trail and the Upfield path carry it. Riding loads the neck and upper back in a specific way, sustained extension, hands loaded, shoulders forward, which shows up as neck pain and headache patterns more often than as back pain.
Hospitality work. The Lygon Street strip means long hours standing, carrying and turning, producing lower back and shoulder presentations.
Working from home. A lot of Brunswick East works at kitchen tables, which is the single most reliable producer of neck and upper back load seen here, a laptop at table height puts the head down for eight hours.
Young families. Pregnancy and paediatric appointments, both with Dr Kenneth Taylor, who is certified in the Webster Technique.
