Queens Park is one of the better-used circuits in Moonee Ponds, for walking, running and prams alike, and the presentations that come from it are the familiar load-related ones.

What the park produces

Walking and running load, knee, hip and heel presentations, usually after a change in distance, surface or footwear.

Postnatal load. Pram walking is often the first sustained activity after a birth, and it arrives on a body that has spent nine months adapting. See pregnancy chiropractic, which covers postnatal recovery as well.

Older patients using the circuit for daily walking, where care adapted for age and lower-force technique are the appropriate approach.

Getting here

About ten minutes by car north-east via Mount Alexander Road. Tram route 59 runs the same road, and Moonee Ponds Station is on the Craigieburn line.

Booking and fees

An initial consultation is $125, item code 1002, and a standard consultation $78, item code 1005. Every fee is on the fees page, and HICAPS is on site so private health rebates are claimed at the desk.

The clinic is at 66 Melville Road, Brunswick West, open Monday to Saturday from 8:45am, to 7:00pm on weeknights and 4:00pm on Saturday.
